Yes, you can always feel something the feeling is just way muted, and condom technology has progressed to where even that's being reduced. And the "'Im drunk and forgot to put one" on excuse I think is complete BS. There's never been a time I've been so wasted the I "forgot". Good question though. |

Very much so. It's obviously not the same as 'au natural', but given the obvious risks involved otherwise, there's not much of a question about it, at least for me.

Maybe Im just sensitive, but it feels just as good to me with one as it does without. I think it is more psychological than physiological as is most things with sex. Think about it....that is why fantasy is always better than reality.

It comes down to what brand you use. Trojans are the worst out of all in my experience, they are usually the thickest and the feeling is way muted. Lifestyle and Durex are waaaaay better especially their respective extra thin models.

Going bareback and then wearing a condom is like driving a Porshe then a Yugo. A Porshe is fun and exlerating, a yugo you just can't wait to get were your going

There used to be a condom made from some sort of animal membrane, I think it was intestine or something, anyway, it was one of the best on the market, at least until HIV started to become epidemic. Havn't really found a condom that is as good since. I guess they call it a "raincoat" for a reason

It is a trade off IMO... Yes condoms suck.. But... The risk of not using them is great.. Are you ready for kids? Std's? I can deal with a bit of discomfort and loss of feeling when using a condom to make sure that I being smart.

I guess I'll be the first to chime in and say I can not get mine with a condom on. Period. Believe you me i've tried. Different brands, different types (extra thin et al). I thought it may be psychological as well so I did a little science experiment and tried for a month every time i masturbated to wear a condom to sort of get used to it. That was a frustrating 7 days of no orgasms :P And what dragon was talking about is lamb skin. It is made out of the intestinal membrane of lamb... not actual "skin" and technically viral cells are small enough to get through since they're porus but sperm and bacteria are not IIRC. So protecting against pregnancy, std's etc are aprox as effective... Just not effective against viral infections such as HIV. They're good for people alergic to latex but fuck-all expensive. Anyone concerned about sensitivity might want to try polyurethane condoms. They're thinner, stronger, more comfortable (less of a latex glove, cut off my circulation, feel to them) and transmit heat better so it can enhance the feeling a bit that way. Also good for people with certain allergies to latex. These will probably eventually completely replace latex condoms. They're the newest but also more money than latex. Sex and sexuality was my favorite class |
