So I found the ex, and facebook'd her........ send pithy email that I thought was not to accusatory but still a good dose of angst to it. Its been twenty years since we talked..... I dont know what the f*ck I was expecting no response as of yet, not sure I really know what the hell is going through my head. Off to the gun range again this weekend

its a sad self loathing mosquito itch kinda reaction. I am just surprised that I thought it meant something 20 years ago.... and well it obviously didnt. Its a tough realization. i suppose I should have learned that lesson long ago, and quit holding every girl I meet up the the candle of what she was; when there is indeed nothing there. It was a summer of great sex, I get deployed, she tells me she loves me, I believed her......

Its an old joke apparently, everytime I get deployed I loose the girl friend.

meh, the military has been the only constant good thing that I can point to in my life. Once the degree is finished; I will submit the app to go back in as comissioned and see where the chips fall.
Stationed overseas in the consolate with a local bought cycle, paid room, and salary, long nites listening analyzing, days free.
