Love at First sight???

Hmmmm..... Possible?
Think you can find the "one" not even knowing you have?

Attraction for sure... love is something deeper to me and I don't think I could fall in love from only a visual instance. Technically it depends what sort of love I suppose.

Maybe attraction, interest, lust, desire at first sight are more possible, but nothing is impossible!

Mostly what he said.

Sorry, but you don't fall in love at first sight. You can develop an intense infatuation, and the insanity that follows can feel pretty damn much like love, but it's not....it's a shallow thing, and while that can be TURNED to love with a little hard work and a lot of luck, there's no such thing as true love at first sight.

So how is everyone this morning? Did I pretty much piss evenly in everyone's Cheerios?

Not sure about "love" persay...I do know when I first saw my ex, hadn't even talked to him yet and I remember saying to my friends "that's the guy I'm going to date" and we ended up being together for 2 years.

Oh how I wish I knew then what I know now...lol

I think "love" needs time to grow and develope..I don't think it happens with just a look.

Been there, done that, it is the E ticket ride in the amusement park. Enjoy it for all it is worth. And when it is over (cuz it will end, they all do apparently) good luck recovering.

Its been 20 years, and the girl still has my heart on the tiltawhirl.

Love at first sight no, lust yes. Can that develop into love, definitely. I did fall in love with one of my friends realized she is "the one" and then proceeded to bury the feelings deep inside cause I would rather have her as a friend and in my life forever then date her, realize it's doesn't work out and lose her.

I have no idea whether or not that answered the question haha

Have you ever wondered if she shared the same feelings?

Of course I wondered but it's a moot point, she lives in another state and has been in a relationship for the last 3 years with a guy I think is good for her.

Oh yes.. Been there. That's how I ended up with my R6. I fell in love with one before I even thought about riding..

And my Aura..Love at first sight when I saw it at the Taste of Tacoma 3 or 4 years ago.... and as soon as I found one.. it was MINE.

Do you think she'd be the right girl for you if you were actually IN a relationship with her? Or maybe is it the thing you think you want but can't really have????? Or should I just drop this?

Yes without a doubt I know she would be the right girl for me. We came close once but circumstances in our lives prevented it and we just dropped the idea coming to the conclusion it was for the best.

Yep, I understand this... suddenly many of the things that were so important are less of a priority. It's really exciting when that person turns out to be who you are hoping for (and more).

I hope you don't regret that decision later in life... It's never to late to check in and see how things are going, but you know what's best for you.

Well, even if there is love at first sight, here's an example of how you know when it fades...

A man was sitting on the sofa watching TV when he heard his wife's voice from the kitchen:

"What would you like for dinner, Love? Chicken, beef or lamb?"

He said, "Thank you; I'll have chicken."

She said "Screw You. You're having soup. I was talking to the cat."

Did somebody say Caturday ? thanks for the laugh.
This weekend is her birthday, I am 3 ctol into it (ctol is 100 militers of vodka). It also coincides with the Bolshevik revolution in Russia The Red Oktobpe.
She is 48.6 miles away, and twenty years ago; might as well be on the moon.

Why rehash the old ground of 'why did you do that? I cant believe you did that. I will never trust you from doing that" When I can out and find perfectly good reasons to not trust someone new ?
