hmmm, well I'm dating. A realllllly nice guy. I'm excited about the entire process of falling in love and exploring what just might be the best thing eva. I'm freakin so stoked right now. So far, it seems this might be the one. So, yeah, I'm looking forward to each day and just being happy with someone that is just so fuckin nice and kewl and shares the same outlook on life and what they want. Didn't think it existed.

I just hope things settle in for me, er 'us'. I am not accustomed to living with someone so I'm still learning the ropes and trying to adjust. This isn't as easy as everyone said it would be

They will never give up that power its like giving up part of there manhood...so you take the batteries out, then we he goes to the bedroom to watch man tv you have your remote. This does work for a very short time so enjoy
What do I want... we need some reconnect time away from home and work and kids and grandkids and all the other distractions. Its been along time since we really have gotten away so I hope to make this happen this year.

If you don't have standards you will alway meet them.

There is nothing wrong with having goals and working towards them. BTW a relationship is made up of two people and it takes work. It's better if both people are working towards the same goals.

Okay.. this might sound ghey but I think I'd rather work on myself this year. Last year I spent so worried finding a relationship and trying to understand dating.. but I think I need to be better with myself before I can figure out what it is that I have to offer someone else. At this stage I think I'm pretty selfish/protective of my time/territory/heart. I'd like to get over that.

Although I stayed away from dating for a few months, I'm not sure if I really focused on 'working' on myself. I've come quite a ways on the territorial/protective issue which is actually HUGE for me.
