The most epic thread ever

So I have been doing some research and networking in regards to actually obtaining a job in the Criminal Justice field. I'm going along my merry way, perusing through some job forums, government career sites, etc. and I find THIS. Umm, if anyone has two hours to waste I seriously suggest reading this 22 page forum post. It is beyond epic.

A) It show's even LEO's can make all the wrong choices
B) His brothers in blue will condone his actions
C) That PNW is not privvy to the most insane threads ever
D) Cops are people too, in other words non LEO's don't have the corner market on stupidity

For some reason I don't feel so dirty anymore Pfft, and I'm suppose to be doing homework. It's like a horrific train wreck..along with about 20 officers, you just can't stop watching this evolve. I'm even thinking about joining..lol. This things spirals out of control at lightening speed.

Let this be a lesson kids, everything you do and say on the wild wacky web is accessible. I want to be pulled over by this guy. WTF?

Dating... how?

I'm a Dude
Living in Sequim - Yeah, Baby!

Some of the gems, just too priceless, like a treasure drove of nuggets

"You're an Officer of the Law mate, no need to be shy in talking to anyone, let alone a lady."

"Pick a moderately nice restaurant for dinner. (It doesn't have to be expensive, but since you mentioned pizza, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT, take her out to pizza place (unless it's a slightly more upscale one like Armand's).) Also insist on paying, even if she offers to split bill. " (this should have been learned in HS)

"Handcuff her, put her in the back of your cruiser, use your arrest packet and start asking questions. Name, DOB, Address, phone number, marital status, work"

"If you ask her to have coffee, she might think you just like her as a friend or find her interesting to talk to (and she might be busy then and say so). If you invite her to have coffee though, you should do it in person (not by phone or text). " well that pretty much kills the POF model, and explains my wild success at it , whilest I was casting the line

"Confucious say: If groundhog sees his shadow, it's six more weeks of winter. If Squirrel doesn't get text reply, it's eight more years of being single."

22 pages ! book marked.

LOL, I was so hoping you would be on tonight. Some of posts I have saved due the thier epic proportions. Talking about relationship, I hope things are going well. You Know I would never be a douche bag to friends...I save that shit for my worst enemies. I am so glad you happy but do feel you reservations. As in all things in life, we only shoot our own table (pool lingo). Don't worry about the bet you make on making the shot, worry about the money you ponied up lying to yourself thinkng you could.

Personally, I'm not a betting woman

I am a risk adverse paranoid f*ck. I rattle contingencies and mitigations for breakfast. I will spool up a worse case scenario for any well laid plan. I have too many years of personal failure in relationships, and experience in the military with red team gaming. I am a cynical, paranoid, cautious sun of a biatch.

what got me was my grandfather dying. I guess you look at things totally differently when you are on a bed hooked up to machines. And I just didnt want to arrive there with any regrets of what if, I wonder if, type things hanging over me. So, no, i have no guarantees, I have no warrantees. All I have is hope and faith, belief and banked trust. This is either going to be the love of my life and a life time of Once upon a time, or the most shameful defeat ever, and I should have seen it coming because I knew better. I just reached the -Fuck it, we only live once, stage. And you know what, I am happier. And it does help that y'all have been a great sounding board, with you all on the decks or in the tub, well there is a therapist somewhere that is surely missing my hourly stipend. You guys are great. And I know that I can count on you to tell me if my shiate stinks. That is the mark of a true friend.
Thanks.

I wish you happiness, really, we have all had our fair share of shit. Its time to call the markers and get the good side of things. Go get what you deserve.

Great example. A lady I work with has been married for 32 years. Her husband literally dropped dead last Sunday. Many of us have used this as a learning lesson, best due it today as there many not be any tomorrow. Lol, we'll always have your back You say things are good, things are good. You say things are bad, I'm taking a ferry
