hmmmm.....I always thought I would never date a guy younger than myself. As a matter of fact I prefer a few years older than me. They say that mentally women mature a whole hella of a lot faster then men do. lol

So my theory is that if I look for a guy a few years older than me then there is a good chance that he has finally reached my maturity level. Make any sense? Or is it wishful thinking on my part? Do guys ever mature? Maybe I am asking the universe for too much!!!! LOL

Yes, I've met or worked with several younger guys who have their act together, so I don't have a problem with the idea. I'm not averse to dating a younger guy, as long as we also have compatibility, commonality, and mutual attraction. That usually means a person closer in age to me, someone who's in a similar stage of life, someone with similar goals and outlook ... translation: I won't go any younger than late 30s.

funny. I felt an attraction to a guy once, then I learned he was younger than my little brother and I instantly got wierded out- So that makes em.....hmmmm......they have to be older than 27 now....not a lot of wiggle room there.

So I've upped the cutoff age, but that depends on what country they are from. I have no real preference, except maturity in social settings.

Yeah.. I'm not sure.. I'd be comfortable dating a guy up to around 25 years older than me.. BUT... I'd be really nervous about my family accepting him if it were to go anywhere.

LOL I've had that happen, I have friends in their early to mid 20's. They're kids in my head.

But mostly it would depend on maturity and youthfulness. I dated a guy who was 4 years older than I was but he seemed decades older at times. Been hit on by a few that were younger, but I usually end up putting them in the kid category. My cousin married a guy who is several years younger and claims they're easier to train. Not sure I'm that patient though.
