actually, having the profession I do, i tend to act as a therapist to most. It seems I can dish out advice better than utilizing it myself....There a few clients that always have great advice. But its funny how its easier said than done. Like my last client yersterday just told me to abstain from sex til I was married. WHAAAAAA? mkay. Lemme try that.....man.

I didn't know where else to post, and didn't feel like starting a new thread, so figured I'd just use this to "add on". Soooo, I finally thru out the newspaper clipping with my divorce in it. haha, took me awhile, but I felt it was time. That was a couple of weeks ago. Tonight I decided to open the dreaded "box" that has been sitting in my living room. As some of you know, I moved and downsized in Jan. I've been staring at the "box" since then trying to decide what to do with the material on the inside. Well, I had had a good day. Felt awesome. So I opened the "box". I unfolded my wedding dress that has been inside for the past 11 years untouched. I was not prepared for the tears. Whether they are sadness, moved on, gown up ones- who knows. Caught me off guard. I coughed and choked and wiped them away. Don't ask me why, but i put it on. Got to say it felt pretty fuckin good to still have it fit. haha. and boy howdy am I gonna make a perty bride again someday. My good friend was here for the ordeal. We've decided to do a photo op in it later this summer. I have a couple of good ideas and cant wait to give this dress a final and proper farewell.....

Terra, sorry you had a rough day and I think you cried for many reasons, the loss, letting go of the past...unfortunatly we all have to do it as we evolve. I didn't know you moved I think you chose the perfect time to open the box, so hopefully now you can move on to a new chapter in your life.

ah, I found my own thread. Hi. My mom died a couple of months ago. Sure, I'm dealing with it, but fuck, she rocked. I want the world to stop and fucking see how kewl she was. My sister is a saint, younger than me, raising her own 3, her step sisters son, and now my bros 2 kiddos. Thats six. How can one even remotely stay sane? She was diagnosed with Lupus in dec, and stress is an factor- um? so uh, think she might have some??? My most beloved client, friend, and mentor doesnt win the battle with her brain tumor. In the morning I go to her memorial. And all I can think about is "what will I wear?" Like wtf? The bro gets arrested, fine, let him sit in jain- OH BUT WAIT! He's got all my mom's livestock to look after. shit, do we bail him out? Uh, think we have too. Really that's not enough? Here, the bf sends a text from a "visit" to oregon..."Hey, I've been doing a lot of thinking, and I'm just not ready for anything serious. I'm not coming back". Huh. Go ahead. I dare you...but guess what? I'M ALL SMILES!

Congrats on the new place! Moving does get old quick though- I once moved 4 times in less than one year. It sure makes a person prioritize what they need to keep! I'm not sure I should attend a New Years party though- The last one I ended up kissing a girl I didn't know.

So, yeah, my house is super clean because everything is in boxes. I think I'm gonna leave it that way for now, its kinda nice having a VERY clean and uncluttered home. I'm ready to hunker down for the winter for sure.
Been to Vegas and phoenix in the past month, my only days off I spend watching shorties play soccer. There's 4 of em, ages 6. 7,7 and 11 all playing. So at 830 on sat mornings, I'm at one soccer field only turn around and find 2 more at different ends of town, all during the day. but hey, I'm enjoying the fuck out of it. I think about my brother and mom missing out on Hailey's first lost tooth, learning to tie her shoe, playing her first soccer games and well, growing up. I plan on attending (yeah, this thread is for my own "terrapy")....I dunno, a lot of shit went down this summer. I lost my 2 mentors, the 2 women that had ALL the answers, were my cheerleaders, filters, shoulders....i feel a bit disconnected. However its also built a huge bond between my sister and I and the greatest friendship with her. Its awesome. I've also become closer and more active with the shorties (neices and nephews).
Fuck, I'm more secure with me. No dating per say. the one I've been "seeing" i still haven't fucked. CLEARLY this is a sign I've turned some kind of page. Either that, or I'm just off my rocker. Eh, just need something with some depth and connection. I can hump my pillow and get just as much fullfilment at this point. Bahaha!

I'll end on that note.

So guess i've been missing for awhile. Hope all is well in pnwlove land. So um...here's why....I met mr right online (POF) back in October. After having those 5hr conversations for a couple of months, I drove to Montana to spend xmas with him to see if there was anything more.

Well, the long and the short of it is: He came home to Spokane with me...and our wedding date is Aug 13th

I'm sure I could go on and on...but i wont. miss you all, and hope life is good.

For me the last nine months ... daughter and grandchildren moved out, other daughter still in Florida..supporting my cousin who's fighting a very rare form of breast cancer..painted the house, rode the bike, flipped hubby shit and that about covers it. LOL oh the Grandson started Kindergarten.
