Your very first date...

Tell us about your very first date... not the who, but the when, where, and what happened.

Hell, I don't remember either.

Daniel, you mean first ever or first of a past/present relationship?

My first actual date was in high school sophmore year. I asked my across the street neighbor to the beach for our weekend bonfire and night surf party we always threw. I remember sweatin when I asked her, but she said yes. It was your typical high school party is all I'm going to say.

My very first date ever was when I was like 17 or 18, we went to the old Cabbage Patch in Snohomish, but that was not before he took me over to his sisters house and I proceeded to meet all of his family members It was awkward to say the least.

I don't remember and I'm 23 :P

I started dating pretty young when boyfriends and girlfriends were boys and girls that hugged and held hands. I guess my first date was probably something lame like a school dance or something.

I remember mine. I was 16 and so was she. I took her to Hilton Hotel for a dinner with a cab.
It was a rainy too that nite but we got there pretty dry.
It was a bit awkward coz we both dressed kinda formal for the first time.
I can't remember the main course that we ordered, but I remember we enjoyed the appetizer bread/butter much better than the main course, lol.
It was fun, we got to talk about a bunch of stuff other than school stuff.

It was November 1990 - I was in the 8th grade. We went on a double date to see Dances with Wolves. We had been "boyfriend/girlfriend" for a while at school but this was our first DATE. I had my first french kiss and remember talking to my friend about it in the bathroom after the movie and saying that it was the MOST disgusting thing in the world (come to find out later it was just a REALLY bad kiss). My friend ended up getting a hickey on her cleavage.. Needless to say she was a little more advanced than me. LOL!

MEMORIES!!

Before I ever went on dates, whenever I'd go see a movie at the theater, I'd usually go with a few friends of mine. When guys go see a movie, unless the movie is slammed packed, we usually sit with one empty seat in between us. I did that when I was younger and I still do it now.

My first date was when I was 16. My friend was dating this girl, and he set me up with her friend to go on a blind date. So we met up at the theater, and I bought the tickets and we went in to sit down. She sat down first, and I sat down one seat away from her thinking an empty seat between us was the norm and didnt think much of it.

I asked her if she wanted some popcorn, she said yes, so I got up to get some and came back and thought it was odd that she had moved over one seat. I sat back down again but moving one seat down, hoping to make her feel comfortable with the empty seat in between us.

She wasn't interested in getting any dinner after the movie so I headed home. She told her friend who told my friend and he called me an "idiot" about 10 times and he still gives me crap for it today.

I learned that if you take a girl to the movie on a date, you should sit next to them.

^^LOL.. Totally cute.

I've learned that I better allow my oldest daughter to sit in the most centered seat in the theater or else.... And she has to sit next to me.. no one else.. Can't tell you how many times we've done a chinese fire drill in the theater. (not talking date here)

I was 12, it was the end of the school year roller skating party, she was 13 and taller than me, we kissed when she was in bare feet and I was still in skates. Both got detention for it when we got back to school. We snuck out to see each other over the summer all the time. Ended up at different jr highs and never saw each other again.

ah memories.

cityx, you sure dig up the stuff...

The first one I remember was when I was 13 (I think) and asked a classmate of mine to a Jr. High Halloween dance. She was cute and all, but I don't really remember why I asked her in particular. Anyway, I talked my dad into driving over to pick her up in his '66 T-bird which was low, long and dark and somewhat limosine looking. He chauffeured us to the dance and came back later to pick us up and drove her home. I sat in the back seat with her. I remember thinking her costume was pretty hawt tho... she went as a "flapper". I actually don't remember what I went as... a nerd maybe? (you better not be sayin' "as yourself" right now)

What happened? Absolutely nothing that I remember... Not that I wasn't interested, but I was too scared to do anything. (Hey, I was 13!) Turns out she wouldn't let me try anything until after High School anyway. lol. Regardless, 13 is a little young anyway right?

All hell broke loose when I got my driver's license a couple years later.

...shhhh...shhh....shhhh...I remember the sound of the Mediterranean sea waves brushing against cooling sands of the night darkened beach like it was yesterday. I believe that to be my first date, I was 13ish, walking on beach in Bulgaria, holding hands with a Jet black hair green-eyed Andrea, looking for a quiet place to hide from prying eyes of people on their evening walk.

We came across the life guard station, which was no more than a metal shed without doors, but for our purpose, it worked just as well, as a castle... in we went in a blink of an eye, but our passionate kiss was interrupted by a stench of a turd, who's owner, judging by the intensity, must have eaten a dead rodent. And out our castle we went!

But.... the night was young and the salty cool fresh sea breeze, quickly cleared our noses, and brought forth our impure thoughts again, and further down the beach, another life guard station loomed on the horizon. And again, our heat of passion lead us into the metal shelter, where it was once again destroyed by what smelled to be another present from the rodent eating bastard. When our third attempt in the next shed over ended up with the same 'shitty' result, we finally gave in, and strolled the beach back to the rented apartments.

After seeing Andrea to her parents' apartment, I lounged comfortably on a nearby bench, letting the excitement of it all wash over me, and the smell was back once again!...and that's when I noticed, I've been carrying the small-mammal-sized turd on the bottom of my sandal all along...

^^ wtf?

I would have thought that every girl has been asked at least once... I don't know if I believe you.

I know I did my fair share of asking back in the day... and it was usually pretty clear. It went something like "Would you like to go on a date with me?"

If you got to be gf/bf, how did this happen without him asking you out on a date or at least meeting you somewhere? Maybe everyone's definition of a "date" is different?

^^^good point and question you should start a thread. What is your definition of a date? If your gf and bf but didn't date how did you get to that point? I think its very interesting..

Sheeeit.... well, I were a ladies man when I was a wee tyke...back before it was cool. I had a "girlfriend" in grade school. People used to ask why we were always hanging out, if we were boyfriend and girlfriend. We told them we were cousins. Got fewer funny looks that way...til the time I got caught kissing her. Just a little-kid kiss, but I literally got in trouble for it. We were "Going out" til I was about 12, when she told me I was "getting too fat." Ultimately, it was okay, my family was planning on moving, and she was the only reason I didn't want to go. Convenient, actually. But at the time, I was crushed.

Didn't do so well through high-school. Story of my life. I'm ahead of the curve on the cool stuff. But when it gets to be the thing to do, I'm left out of the loop.

It was an amazing incident when I had my first dating. Actually, I was desperate so anyhow I wanted to meet a woman. So, I elected to date escorts of UK Escorts. It was a funny dating. I was nervous and she was professional. You can imagine what the chemistry happened there!

My legitamete-ish first date

Well if you don't count a boy coming over to your house and kissing you in your closet, then my first real-ish date was a picnic at the far end of our property you might think right? But it was actually sentimental. Mid-afternoon, hot but not too hot, and just us, our lunch, a blanket to cozy up on, and eachother.
