Question for the ladies

So, I have not a problem in the world talking to a girl. My main issue is the approach. Not really sure what to say ever. If I'm introduced I'm fine. I guess it's a fear of recjection maybe.

So Ladies, what are you looking for/interests you when a guy approaches you in an open setting (i.e. Bar, Grocery Store, anywhere)?

Hmm.. I'll let the other ladies answer this one. I'm not always receptive to being approached.

Edit: Nevermind.. Just start off with "Hi.. I race motorcycles".. that'd at least perk up my ears..

I think I am a pretty friendly person overall so if a guy comes up to my table and introduces himself I just start with the basics.....I ask where he is from etc. The only time a guy can go wrong with me is if he is drunk and obnoxious. Or if he uses some stupid pick up line! Otherwise, it is always nice to meet someone new.

I will say this....when I am out with Sarah and it is a girls night we don't like to be bothered. It is not the guy it is just us. So, if you approach a couple of ladies and they seem distracted or not interested in what you have to say, remember that it might just be that they are looking for some quality girl time to bash men and since you are male, well you don't fit in with their evening plans. And there is nothing worse than a guy who can't take a well placed hint and leave us girls alone for the night!

Honestly...I wouldn't mind going out. I don't have a lot of money but I have never been out on New Years Eve and it has been awhile since we went out. BUT we do not have to stay out. If we don't like what we see we can always go to your place or mine with some bottles of wine. As long as i have you all to myself for the evening then I will be very happy.

ok this could help. Why aren't you receptive to being approached in an open setting?

Ps - not many girls are as interested in motorcycle racing as you ladies are.

Hmm.. not sure. If it's someone I find charming then all is good.. I guess I'm just used to the creepy people who are a) drunk.. b) young and immature.. or c) old and creepy (and usually drunk).

alright let's turn the tables . What would you say, if you were a guy, to a girl most likely with a groups of friends? Let's say we're at a bar..

Yeah.. sorry.. I don't think I really have a clue. Certainly wouldn't use a line.. just go up and introduce myself to the group (with a friend in tow) and ask casual questions like where we were from and yada yada.

Oh.. asking to play a game of pool or darts.. I'm usually always up for a game so long as I'm not leaving someone sitting at the table alone.

I've always had that idea in the back of my mind, but have never quite been able to pull the trigger.

I just need to grow the balls I guess, take the rejection that might come my way, and get more comfortable with it.

I totally hate "the game" lol

Ok so I am not exactly ladie like but here are some things that can work for group situations.

If there is a group of girls, talk to all, ask if any of them wants to play pool/darts or whatever. No one will then feel singled out or under pressure. If the one you have your eye on is receptive she'll let you know.

If there is a guy with them, things change a bit. They are obviously friends with him and he in some way makes them feel somewhat protected...and he is likely in that mode, knowingly or not. Find a way to disarm him, conversation at the bar getting drinks or game of pool or what ever. Once he unknowingly ok's you, they will not feel like you are overly aggressive as you would have been had you just pushed your way in.

Lines suck, just enjoy what you are doing and make things casual.

Just my un asked for 2 cents!

Oh sweetie....my breasts are so big you really don't need an excuse to stare at them. As a matter of fact the only people that tend not to notice them are blind!!!! I have yet to meet a guy that doesnt take a small tour with his eyes when he meets me.....

I'm not going to say at some point I won't ever look, but the attraction starts at the eyes for me.

I LOVE to laugh!!!!! There is nothing like the feeling that runs through my body when I am laughing uncontrollably. I am also very sarcastic and so I have a hard time being around people that take me or life too seriously. What ends up happening is I have to keep apologizing and explaining myself and I get tired of it cause I start to feel like I can't be me....

I know exactly how you feel!!! A lot of times people don't know what to make of me when they first meet me cause of the sarcasm and I tend to say exactly what is on my mind. I wish I could meet a guy who says what is on his mind cause the whole guessing game is a huge turn off for me.

If a guy makes me laugh, I'm far more open to continuing the conversation. After bartending for 2 years, you hear everything, the ones that always stood out where the guys that didn't try to come on to strong and just was genuinely funny. Just my .02
